Plot Outline
It's been a decade since Michael Myers had his last killing spree in Haddonfield. But tonight, October 31, 1988, that's going to change - it's Halloween again!
While being transferred from the Ridgemont Maximum Security Hospital, Michael Myers, who's been sleeping dormant in a coma for the last ten years, awakens when he hears that he has a neice. Meanwhile, back in Haddonfield, Myers' neice Jamie Lloyd (daughter of [supposedly] deceased Laurie Strode) is having nightmares about her evil uncle. Her step-sister, Rachel Corruthers, takes her out trick-or-treating, but instead of finding a night of fun, they find Michael Myers!
But Dr. Loomis also survived the firey explosion of the second film. He tracks Michael back home, enlisting the help of Sheriff Ben Meeker. Together, they shelter Jamie in Meeker's not-too-safe house. Myers makes his way in, taking his vengance on victims Kelly, Deputy Logan, and Brady. Jamie escapes to the local schoolhouse, but her fiendish uncle is hot on her track. A high-paced finale leaves Myers buried in hell. As everyone begins to calm down from the night, a scream is heard from the upstairs of the Corruthers' house - the evil has only started!
Review
I think this movie could have been the best movie of the saga in many ways. Not only did it provide us with the criminal mastermind we had all grown so fond of, it also provided us with a vass array of new characters to come attached to. We now meet Michael's neice, and if anyone can tell you, without her being a part of the element, the series would have never succeeded. She is what made the series continue on a positive note. Think about it. Without her, where would this series have gone instead of where it went in parts 5 and 6. Without her, we might as well have all kissed the series goodbye and sent it on a magical journey to Bumfuck, Egypt. because of the colorful death methods and the great new story twists, this film is credited ***** and recieves the Slashback pictures I don't even know where the hell my thumbs are, they were sliced off so fast award. Enjoy this film any time you want to get in a good scare.
